Hi! My brother is getting married and needs a location for his ceremony. Their reception is being held at Marbles Kids Museum in downtown Raleigh. They would like the have the ceremony very close by. Walking distance would be ideal. Thing is he is having around 250 guests! This takes out All Saints Chapel and a few other locations I know of from planning me own wedding. Any ideas? Thanks!
Yes I would suggest same LONGVIEW church, it is beautiful I held my sons funeral service there and that was a 1st for them, They did an amazing job and Nuesom the pastor is a lovely person, also the music Wake County Pipes & Drums & Paddy Gibney both performed in the church the sound was amazing, they also have a few rooms where family can gather and the bride can prepare.. IF you would like any help with Horse drawn carriage/ Music including or still looking for somewhere local for your rehearsal dinner, we do a lot of them here at Tir na nOg on Blount Street right across from Church and Marbles Let me Know. Good luck with your wedding Regards Annie@tnnirishpub.com
Long View Center is leased by Unity Church of the Triangle. You can contact Diane McDaniels who is the facilities/events coordinator at email@example.com or call the church at 832-8324. It is the most elegant venue in Raleigh and 1/2 a block from Marbles. I have officiated many weddings there and you can see photos of them at this link: http://raleighweddingblog.blogspot.com/search/label/Long%20View%20Center Depending on the date and time of your brother's wedding, I may be available to officiate for him. You or he can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out. I have also officiated ceremonies at Marbles in a three different locations within the museum so if he does not find a ceremony site, it can be done there. Rev. Kayelily Middleton
