I'm trying to find an outdoor site that is beautiful but not to expensive to have my wedding. I'm so nervous and so don't know what to do. Don't have many friends to help with this so on my own I am. Any ideas on where to have it at?

Congratulations on your engagement! This is an exciting time of your life. The Retreat at Bradley's Pond is one of the best ceremony and reception sites in our area. Visit www.bradleyspond.com When you rent our facility you get it from 8 am. until midnight (everyone and everything have to be gone at midnight). You bring in the licensed caterer of your choice (we have several listed on our website). We provide tables and chairs for up to 200 although we don't recommend seating over 170 inside the building if you want to have room for a dance area and be comfortable. Would love to schedule a time for you to come out and look. You can reach me at [email protected] or 850.561.6328. What date are you looking for?
Hi Kathy,
Thank you for responding back to me. I looked at your site before and it looks wonderful. I don't think that our wedding ceremony would have more than like 50 people because we don't want it huge. We're kind of on a budget and your site looks pretty expensive. I will call you the next time I'm in Tallahassee to come look at it and talk to you. Our wedding date is planned for October 1st.
The thing is I'm in the military and I'm planning this wedding from a distance. Since we're both from Tallahassee and all of our family is there that's why we're having it at home. Any assistance you can proivde would be greatly appreciated.
Would love for you to come see our venue, but with 50 people I understand your budget issue. May I suggest Golden Eagle? I believe they charge per person and you can get married outside. Not sure of the logistics there, but you should call Michelle Griggs or check out their website. Edna Hall with A Touch of Class Florist is wonderful to work with as well. We several photographers listed on our website as well. Let me know if you would like to see the venue.
Kathy,
Thank you for that information and I looked at their site and it's beautiful. I will definitely give Michelle Griggs a call to look at the site in person. Thank you again for this information and your help.
We had a small wedding at Bradley's Pond and it turned out ideal. It was the perfect venue for us. The people there were great and all had a wonderful time. We liked the rural setting over looking the quite pond because it was relaxing and not one bit stuffy.
Bradford,
Thank you so much for this information but I think I found a great place. Now all I have to do is find the perfect wedding cake and decide if I want a cater or not. Oh planning a wedding is very hard and stressful.
