We are getting married in Carlsbad in Sept and we are looking for a musician who can play (and sing) mellow music as guests are arriving and then get people out there dancing when the reception is in full swing. He/she must have be able to play many genres. Can anhyone help?

Thanks

We are using Music as you like it, company. We went to see them perform at several shows and a friend's wedding, and were totally impressed. On another note, we also saw Anthony Garcia, the guistarist, perform at a friends wedding. He was aweful and ruined her ceremony. I actually think he was intoxicated.

Fran,

Thanks for your reply. It appears that Music As You Like it is a music company that represents several musicians, correct? I have been kind of blown away at the wedding rates for musicians. It seeems like a musician (one person) charges somewhere in the neighborhood of $1500 for four hours. What ever happened to the notion of a starving musician?
