My fiancee' is in the navy and we are planning on getting married in late March. We both want to have an outdoor wedding, but neither wants to have it at the beach. He wants somewhere that has a good view or at least beautiful setting. We are planning to spend around $5,000 at most since we are having to pay for the wedding ourselves. He is not from here so it is pretty much up to me to find a good place. We are going to have around 100 guests and need a place for a reception also. So i need some major help. It can be in Pensacola, Milton, or Pace.
Hey rmls08, I just got married in September in Seville Square Park in Pensacola. The little gazebo there was perfect and the whole park is yours for $150. We didn't even rent chairs of spend money decorating bc it was such a pretty location. Lots of trees and shade and gorgeous downtown buildings surrounding it including the beautiful white steepel church and the new lee house bed and breakfast (which is where we had our rehearsal but would be great for a reception in their back courtyard as well, rental for that was like $450 I think.) We used one of the sidewalks coming from the corner to the gazebo as our "isle" and then when we reached the gazebo, everyone just gathered around and watched. Email me and I can send you pics and info on who to contact. Congrats! firstname.lastname@example.org
Sanders Beach Corrine Jones Community center. It has a beautiful location out near the water with palm trees and a lawn. Then the reception is in the building nearby. Its $1200 for 8hrs and it is all waterfront. Just beautiful! It also comes with all the chairs, and tables, lighting, and sideshow capabilities. Oh! And it is all hardwood floors and brand new! It opened Oct 2010!
