The Palladium was voted the best party venue in Waco for 2009 (Wacoan), which is why I mentioned it.
The Earle Harrison House/Pape Gardens are very pretty, but it is outside, which most people wont consider because of Texas weather, and it costs 2 to 3 times more. All the other places you mention are even smaller than The Palladium, which is one of the largest in town. As far as decorating goes, The Palladium requires almost no decoration at all since the exposed brick walls of the 1890's building are so interesting, allowing you focus your attention on the tables almost exclusively. Yes, you are responsible for setup/cleanup, but for the $1,000's you saved you can pay someone do it for you AND go on a honeymoon.
