The Palladium is the best place in town.

I was married at the Earle Harrison House. We didn't have to do any set up or clean up. The place was so beautiful we didn't have to have any decorations.

I'm a florist in Austin, but I have a bunch of friends I do weddings for in Waco so I get to look around at places also. The Peacock River Ranch is also a great place although its in Mc Gregor. You have the Arboretum in Woodway, Baron's on the 5th, Cameron Park Zoo, MCC, and tons of other places. This August there should be a bridal show at the Convention Center. You can look at pictures and prices of a tons of places all in one day. As far as the palladium, my cousin had her reception there and it was super cramped. There wasn't enough room to do dinner and a dance. Plus it needed a lot of decorating.

The Palladium was voted the best party venue in Waco for 2009 (Wacoan), which is why I mentioned it.

The Earle Harrison House/Pape Gardens are very pretty, but it is outside, which most people wont consider because of Texas weather, and it costs 2 to 3 times more. All the other places you mention are even smaller than The Palladium, which is one of the largest in town. As far as decorating goes, The Palladium requires almost no decoration at all since the exposed brick walls of the 1890's building are so interesting, allowing you focus your attention on the tables almost exclusively. Yes, you are responsible for setup/cleanup, but for the $1,000's you saved you can pay someone do it for you AND go on a honeymoon.
