Hello all! I just wanted to share our vendors for those of you looking for a little local help!
Our DJ was absolutely spectacular and made the entire evening a blast! They are called Party Boys DJ and their website is http://partyboysdjshows.com/. You won't regret contacting them. They catered every song to our musical tastes and gave us 6 hours of awesome entertainment! I highly recommend them!
We had our reception at the Airport Hilton in Alcoa. Although the event planners there were a little scatterbrained (they seemed slightly disorganized) they did, however, cater our evening to suit our specific needs and budget. The food was fantastic, the room beautifully lit, and the guest rooms discounted to a reasonable price. I recommend them to anyone looking for a no stress reception facility. Plus, their location is extremely convenient for guests flying into town at McGee Tyson.
We made our own flower arrangements by going to Kroger in Bearden and they looked amazing! For $250, we had flowers for all the groomsmen, bridesmaids, parents, and the altar. Furthermore, the flowers were perky, fresh, kept their color and vitality throughout the day, and looked GREAT! Everyone asked us who our florist was, tee hee! Of course, if you have never made your own arrangments, do some research first (I watched videos on youtube and read a book from Hobby Lobby). But DIY flowers will save you a TON of money and Kroger has great prices and a diverse selection!
Our photographer was the amazing Erin Browne and her husband Matt Browne. These two were fun to work with, made us incredibly comfortable, and gave us the most spectacular images to remember our special day. They have tons of wedding experience, reasonable prices, and a beautiful style of photojournalism with an artistic flare. Our photos look like they came straight out of a magazine! And the best part is that they worked entirely in the background during our ceremony without interrupting a single special moment. Check out their website at www.erinbrownephoto.com.
Also, if you are having a hard time finding wedding colors or a wedding theme, check out the website www.stylemepretty.com. I found a color palette that perfectly fit our styles and season. They also have many DIY projects and ideas.
I purchased my wedding dress from A Joyous Occasion and received expert service. They have one of the largest selections of gowns in Knoxville and a great staff. Also, try White Lace and Promises if you want a large selection of gowns. They have a wonderful staff as well.
Please email me if you have any questions about our Knoxville wedding. And of course, I have MANY pictures to share! Just message me if you want a link to our online proof gallery =) Loads of luck to you all!
