I think Fredericksburg Square gives you alot of bang for your buck. You can have a nice reception without cutting out anything important. When I was looking for reception sites I was getting frustrated that I wouldn't be able to afford anything but the room and maybe a cocktail hour..but Fredericksburg Square gives you the entire package! The only fallback is you don't have as many choices for table settings, and if you cant stand the idea of silk flowers you have to make room in your budget for that.
If you are looking for an outdoor venue, check out Glen Garden weddings weddings: www.glengardenweddings.com. My best friend had her ceremony & reception there this past Sept. Great price and you get a lot! Bonnie, the owner, takes care of her brides! Good luck!
We are getting are married and having the reception at the local American Legion Hall. Very Cheap and I can decorate how I want too. Very great location and holds well over 200 people! Tables and chairs are included and you get to use the kitchen too!
