Just was wondering if anyone knew of any pretty outdoor locations for a wedding(with indoor reception there or reception near by - at least 30 minutes)in Northeastern Ohio? I'm between Akron and Canton and would prefer to travel more north than south. Or if south, something between here and Mount Vernon, OH.
I've checked out so far: --Occasions Party Center --Williams on the Lake --Tudor House
And a few others, but those three were my top choices so far.
If you're planning a small wedding (max. 65) we are using the Hilltop Pavilion (Cascade Valley Summit Metroparks) although actually setting chairs and arbor on the hilltop, then going to Papa Joe's Iacomini's just five minutes away. If you're looking for something larger you might look into Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens... beautiful grounds. Good luck.
Thanks for all the suggestions! Stan Hywet has been on my list of places to visit. I'll be sure to visit there when I'm home on spring break. :) There will probably be about 150-200 guests, so the hilltop pavillion probably won't work. But I'll keep it in mind if anything changes. :D
help! i need a venue outside, in the akron/mogadore area. big enough to have a tent for the reception. everything i look at is crap(at least on line it does) and everything that looks good is so far away:( can you help me?
