Our wedding was exactly as we had imagined! We are both from out of state, so initally we thought planning would be difficult. It couldn't have been much farther from that! We took a weekend several months from the wedding to visit San Francisco and picked all of our vendors at that time. After speaking with Ellie at Fogarty before our visit, we were given a list of their preferred vendors which made things a lot simpler. I still feel confident we would have been just fine picking vendors from the list and never meeting in person. Fogarty was incredible in every way. Our guests had an amazing time (so we were told!), the music was great, food and wine was incredible...we couldn't have asked for more!
We worked with Henry from BigFUN, and he did an absolutely incredible job. He's incredibly organized and really was the one component of the reception that kept everything moving. We loved ALL of the music, and we should have since we had a long phone meeting with him regarding our preferences. Best of all, everyone danced!
Nancy Pitta did a fabulous job on our cakes. The Bride's cake is shown in the photograph and was a "Lemon Drop" (lemon chiffon cake with lemon curd and vanilla frosting) and the Groom's cake was chocolate with raspberry filling. Both were delicious and beautiful to look at!
Couldn't have asked for more. The food was delicious and presented in a beautiful way. Paul is who we mainly worked with and despite never meeting him in person, he did a fabulous job of helping put together a menu that would work for all of us. He also made sure that we got to taste everything the day of the wedding. We had a plate of all appetizers that had been passed while we took pictures waiting for us when we got to the table. Highly recommended!
Meg and Michael were great to work with. For the negotiated fee, we received 8 hours of undivided attention from not only Meg & Michael, but their son as well! Meg recently began having some problems with her knee, so she also had a fellow photographer come to make sure we had enough shots. We are still waiting to get the pictures back, but she has assured me that there are over 1,000 images. With each one going through color correction and then re-touching, it's understandable for it to take some time. We can't wait to see them!
We had our Rehersal Dinner at the Mountain House mainly because it was located in close proximity to the winery. We had a private room and were able to bring in our own wine (for a fee). It was a perfect place for the dinner as it's so quaint and the food was delicious!
This hotel was in great proximity for our guests, being in the middle of the airport and winery. They worked with us to negotiate a group rate and were really fantastic once we got there making sure that everyone with the wedding was on a list and would receive the gift bags we prepared. The only negative I would say is that the negotiated price wasn't really that low, and we thought initially that we would receive at least the Bride's room free, but did not. I'm sure this is a Marriott thing, however, and shouldn't reflect poorly on this particular location.
I took my bridesmaids to Bella Nails the day before the wedding for mani/pedis and they did a great job! We brought in breakfast, and they not only had glasses for our mimosas, but they helped serve us as well! My pedicure lasted all the way to the end of our honeymoon!
We worked with Ellie at Fogarty to coordinate our ceremony and reception. The venue was so perfect and exactly what we wanted. We were married in the Pavillion which is outdoors, covered, and hanging over the vineyard. Our guests all commented on how beautiful everything was, and we couldn't have picked a better place!
