Carmel was the perfect spot to host our destination wedding for our Texas guests! Due to small boutique hotels, we had guests split up all over town, which made it a little more difficult in planning for shuttle transportation - but it ended up running flawlessly! Adding the "Wedding Mapper" app to our website was the best thing we could have done to acquaint guests with the city!
THE BEST BAND EVER! This band plays all over the world for corporate events and weddings. Very professional, and each artist is exceptional! We asked for a mix of current and classic songs, and were able to select artists and specific songs from a recommended song list. We opted for the full band + horns + DJ for a total of 14 piece band!
Marina, a competitor and winner on several Food Network challenges, is creative, professional, and her creations are delicious! In one meeting, we had a sketch of the exact cake that I wanted, using fresh floral and a custom monogram we used on invitation, custom monogrammed napkins, program, etc. It really helps that Just Cake, Fiona Floral, and Allsion Weddings all work out of the same building - so they work very well together. It made life so much easier planning a destination wedding - we only had one office to visit for cake, floral, and wedding design meetings in Capitola!
Absolutely loved our wedding planner, Allison, and could not have planned a destination wedding without her amazing talent and team! She really listened to exactly what I wanted, and helped design a beautiful rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception! She handled details such as rentals, venue arrangements (working with the event planner at the country club), floral liaison, and all vendors. She made recommendations of design details, and the timeline for the day was flawless!
Sarah was amazing from the start! I am very specific on types of floral and it was one of my most important items for the wedding. We spent 2 hours discussing various arrangements and options, and she got back to us with an itemized list of arrangements and prices for our review. She has a great eye for finding candelabras and event decor to complement her floral designs, and event built a canopy for the ceremony and our escort card display. She owns a fantastic array of rentals, and is far more than just a florist! Designer and artist through and through - and I couldn't recommend her more!
MPCC is the most beautiful country club in all of Pebble Beach/Carmel! It had just what I was looking for - Spanish style decor, breathtaking views, delicious food, and a helpful and willing staff. We were married on the 14th Hole of the Dunes Course, on the ocean side of 17-Mile Drive, followed by cocktails in the courtyard, and a seated dinner in the ballroom with a big 14 piece band! Must be a member or sponsored by a member to host an event on site.
Scott is an expert in photography, and very detail oriented! As soon as we met with him in his studio, we realized this investment would be worth it. He really wanted to get to know us as a couple, and asked the right questions so we didn't have to worry about anything! He attended our wedding with an additional photographer and a photographers assistant and captured the most beautiful memories! We selected the option to have a few "teaser photos" sent to us, that we received on our honeymoon. He also has the option to buy all of the digital files. We just received our album, and although expensive, it is done with the highest quality products and technology! The only regret was not doing an engagement shoot and bridal portraits! I know they would have been just as incredible!
We hosted our wedding in Carmel, and requested for our guests to stay in Carmel-by-the-Sea, as there is more to do walking around and it helped keep our shuttles in one area. Very at home feel with a large and fun living area with the best live entertainment on Thursday evenings to enjoy with a cocktail or two!
