Even though it rained on our wedding day, the vendors and the guests made it the most perfect day. I could not have been happier with the outcome. The pictures came out awesome with rainboots for the girls and huge black umbrellas. My husband and I still cannot stop talking about how smooth and wonderful our wedding was.
Frenchtown Baptist Church was beautiful. The pastor was extremely helpful and such a big part of the wedding even though my own pastor was actually performing the ceremony. The pastor the church sat in the back of the church, ran the sound system, helped telling the girls when to walk, and helped opening and shutting the doors for dramatic effect. The church was a reasonable fee to pay for cleaning and the use service. There is one thing that is required to be married here and that is that both the bride and groom are both born again Christians.
Quidnessett was such a beautiful place for the wedding. They were on top of things the entire night. We dropped things off the week of and when we showed up all the stuff was set up the exact way we wanted it. The food was delicious and the service again was great. I could not have been more pleased with the reception hall. Also both rooms are beautiful but we had the bayfront room and I absolutely fell in love with it. Our guests only totaled about 130 and the room did not look empty at all. I totally advise getting married in East Greenwich and having your reception at Quidnessett Country Club.
We heard great things from our guests that stayed at the Hampton Inn. There was a little trouble with the booking aspect, they kept charging my guests the actual night price instead of the "wedding book" price. My mom had to call multiple times and complain. The hotel was close to the reception and the church so it was really helpful for the out of town guests.
