Our wedding turned out great! We were on a very limited budget and doing a lot of things ourselves saved a lot of money. The vendors we did bring in just added to the happiness of the day. I would recommend any of our vendors, except our caterer. Chef Raymone's left more than a little to be desired though for the amount they charged.
The cupcakes were delicious, looked great, and showed up as promised. However, their lack of professionalism was a bit of a turn-off at times. We waited nearly a week sometimes for a reply to an important question or request, and I believe they lost our contract which had imporant information about the wedding and then tried to cover up the fact it was misplaced.
Our flowers were just lovely, everything we had discussed we wanted! The only point lacking is the customer service. The woman delivering the flowers showed up at the location early to set-up eventhough we told our florist, Andrea, far in advance that we couldn't get into the chapel to set-up early. The woman delivering the flowers obviously wasn't told that and was a bit rude to some members of my family because of her frustration.
This caterer came very highly recommended by a few people so we expected the best! During the time leading up to the wedding, dealing with them was just fine. Everyone was professional and got in touch with us in a timely matter. However, come the day of the wedding they were late showing up to our location to set-up the food, the bartender was slow and at times rude, and the servers (who we paid two extra hours for to clear tables), just sat in the back room eating vegetables off of the buffet table. My mom, aunts, and grandmother ended up cleaning tables and packing up leftover food, which the severs were supposed to do. We called the office on our honeymoon to address the issues and to try to get some kind of refund on the two extra hours we paid for the servers, because frankly they did NOTHING, but the woman in the office just said "I'll make a note of it." To top it all off, we waited more than a month for our deposit check to be returned, until we finally called again. The woman in the office obviously "forgot" to send out the check. Two days after my husband called we received the check in the mail.
We had Rev. Wayne Androos officiate our wedding and he did a wonderful job. We had many compliments on our ceremony because of him. Our ceremony wasn't too long and drawn out, but it also wasn't over in the blink of an eye either. Would recommend to anyone!
Our pictures turned out great and Rebecca is just wonderful! It's a great value for the money we spent. With most of her packages you get a photo DVD of pictures so you can print them out yourselves which leads to BIG savings!
Party Place had everything we needed at a pretty decent price. The location was very close to our reception spot which is the number one reason we chose them. We ended up renting the dance floor, chairs, and table linens from them. They arrived on time to drop-off and pick-up the rentals and were very accommodating. They even scheduled someone ESPECIALLY to come in and pick up our rentals on an off day. The only down-side was about a half dozen of the chairs arrived dirty and broken. After a quick call to the girl in the office more chairs were delivered and nobody would have suspected anything!
A++ location to have your wedding! The location is great and the venue itself is beautiful, clean, and just perfect for pictures!
