Mynelle Gardens is beautiful, but it is absolutely not worth the terrible and frustrating staff and policies that make it very difficult to have a wedding here.
I helped plan a wedding for someone who booked this venue for two hours (3-5pm). However, she was told a month away from her wedding that everything had to be dismantled and everyone had to be gone by 5pm, because that is when they closed. RIDICULOUS! They let her book this venue with the understand that she would have her two hour reception her for the time she booked, yet later they said she really only had about an hour. We were able to convince them to give her an extra hour to get everything taken down so her guests could have the full 2 hours, but they charged her more!
If you are looking at this spot to have a wedding, I would strongly recommend searching elsewhere. This placed is staffed by city employees who care nothing of service or quality. They are paid to be in their office from 9:00-5:00, and before or after those hours they care nothing about you or your wedding needs.
