Getting married in Boston was a ton of fun. The Hampshire House was the perfect place for our small ceremony and reception. INstead of getting our photos taken in the Public Garden like so many couples do, we did our photos in the back alley ways behind the Hampshire House. Old, cobblestone walks, brick buildings lining the narrow streets, vines up and down the walls... very characteristic of Boston and New England. Everything went perfectly and we could not have asked for a better wedding day.
Very helpful, very beautiful flowers at a fair price. I ordered a bridal bouquet, corsages and boutonnieres, and the mantle arrangement from Bow Street Flowers and I was not disappointed!
Brian Jenkin was awesome. He took TONS of photos but never got in anyone's way. He was extremely friendly and instructive while working with the groom and I, and also the guests. We received many perfect shots of us and of the guests, food, and venue. We couldn't have found a more perfect photograher.
The Hampshire House was AWESOME! Beeaauutiful architecture and interior design. It's a small venue so you can't host a big wedding there. But the spiral stair cases, chandeliers, library... just breath taking. We had a small wedding in the library with an adjoining bar, and everything was perfect. Michele Giaccomozzi was wonderful. She made sure everything flowed smoothly and told us exactly where to go and what to do at the appropriate time. The serving staff was also great. Everyone was polite and willing to bend over backwards to make your wedding day as wonderful want it to be.
