Getting married in Monterey/Carmel was the best option for us. It is where I grew up and so I knew the area and locations really well. October in Monterey is the best weather, not too foggy and warm enough and (usually) no threat of rain. The area is charming, historic and is on the water, what more could you ask for?
They were very hand's on and worked with us to make sure all of the little details we wanted came through on the day. And the food was incredible! It's been over a month since the wedding and I am still getting rave reviews from our guests.
Lisa at Exhibit Floral was awesome to work with. Since my husband is Australian, we wanted a southern hemisphere influence in the florals, and Lisa, being from New Zealand, knew exactly where we were coming from. She did an incredible job, the flowers were interesting and elegant.
Amazing location and we had a beautiful day. The only draw back is that they do 3 weddings a day on the weekends, so you usually have to rush in or out with the photos. But it is such a stunning location, who cares?
This venue was perfect for our 85 guest cocktail style wedding. Both the gardens and the interior are so lovely that you don't need to go crazy with decorations - (and you always have a plan B in case it rains).
