Our wedding was truly everything I imagined it to be, not because of the flowers or glitter but because of all the love and laughter that filled our tent.It rained on February 27,2010, our wedding day. When it rains it pours, but for us it also hailed. So the vendors quickly moved to plan B which was to move the ceremony inside the tent instead of the outdoor oak tree with twinkle lights and open sky. But being in the tent with the drapery hanging down from the ceiling was even more magical.\\ My husband kept whispering to my ears, "I'm so happy you're going to be my wife." Those were all the words I needed to hear to put a smile on my face that lasted the entire day. We kicked off the party with our first dance which was the cha cha cha to " Sway" by Michael buble. It was our first time doing a choreographed song together and we had a blast. The crowd really loved it and everyone was on their feet cheering us on. Soon after that My sister and His brother were the Maid of honor and Best man and they surprised us with a duet song " Lucky" from Jason Mraz. We were all stunned on how amazing they sound. I was planning to add some wedding games, but everyone had so much fun once the floor was open for dancing and the DJ pummed up the party we didn't need to do the games. Everything was just so amazingly fun and to see everyone's faces smiling and laughing was all that we needed.
Huey was an amazing DJ and MC. We were so lucky to have booked him early enough to be apart of our wedding. He was so orgranized, professional and really brought the PARTY!! Everybody loved him from the old crowd (my parents' friend) to the young crowd. He will not disappoint.
everything was just superb. The waiter staff at Calamigos Ranch are always on point and they were so attentive. I recommend this site for any lucky bride looking for a romantic and secluded location to get married.
The price is a bit on the higher end but at the end of the day it was so worth it.
February was a tricky month, it actually rained on our wedding, not the day before or after. But we managed despite walking through mud and rain. The only thing I missed was the opportunity of taking out door pictures on the beautiful Ranch with my husband.
This place is truly picturesque.
