We got soooo many compliments on the band. They had people up on the floor from the very beginning. And, they were super nice to work with! they played a really wide range of music. What we loved was that they had the female vocalist (Tober) - she had a nice softness to her voice and a great range - but they also had male voaclists. We're 80's-90's kids, and so are our friends, so it was a perfect fit!
Father Paul did an amazing job. Since we'd been working with him for a year, it felt very warm and personal. Michael the Music Director, Cedric the amazing Cantor and Peggy the coordinator all did superb jobs as well. Plus, the church is beautiful.
Our guests loved the uniqueness of the venue. They ended up being a little difficult to work with. We rented Chivari chairs and my husband went in to negotiate having their chairs moved out. Well, they moved them into the bar/cocktail hour room, so when we showed up the day before, we had to figure out what to do with them. They really just didn't care. Plus, we saw a rat in the kitchen which brought me to tears. The security guard also yelled at my daughter and me because she tried to go the restroom unescorted. I didn't know that was a rule, but he then yelled at me when I took her. Our guests never saw any of these problems...and had nothing but a wonderful time...
They were very nice to us despite being overbooked for Breeder's Cup that weekend. The rooms were nice, I ended up in a smaller suite than what I booked, but overall they did a great job.
