We hired PK for our wedding and he is seriously the best wedding MC ever! We received so many compliments throughout the night and even after the wedding how great our MC/DC was- PK was funny, captivated the audience and kept the night going smoothly. I've been to a wedding where PK was the MC/DJ team and I knew I wanted to book him when I got engaged and I am so glad I did! PK also really wants to make the night about the couple so he preps before the big day with questions about us- how we met, our first date, etc. PK worked well with the venue coordinator to make sure everything stayed on schedule and everyone complimented how smooth the night went on- no awkward silences or gaps. We are so glad we picked PK and his team and highly recommend future couples to choose PK for their wedding
Mirtha is the wedding coordinator/director for St. Joachim Catholic Church and she was always professional and easy to work with. The church is a beautiful, classic Catholic church with high ceilings. Highly recommended to reserve your wedding date with the church as soon as the date is settled because the church is very popular in the area and books fast especially during popular holiday dates. Mirtha lists out everything that you need to prepare before the big day with required documents, music and reading selections and gives adequate timeline for everything. There were no surprises since Mirtha outlined everything required and worked well with our schedule since we were planning our wedding from the East Coast and was not around much during our planning process.
If I had to choose the best vendor for our wedding, it would be Turnip Rose. Chrissy is the wedding coordinator/director for the venue and she is AMAZING to work with. She is so experienced and has seen/dealt with all different sorts of weddings and knows how to handle it well and professionally. All of my wedding guests complimented how organized our reception and dinner was; how professional the entire venue staff was and just the venue itself- how it was thoughtfully layed out and comfortable for the guests. We absolutely loved working with Chrissy and would recommend this venue to any future engaged couples.
This particular Hilton was located in a great central location for our out of town guests- from our wedding site and to the airport. There are other hotels all along the same street but the staff at the Hilton was much easier to work with while planning for our wedding. I directly worked with Jennifer A. who helped us with our room rates, our after party in their hotel lounge and any other issues such as parking, dropping off our guest welcome bags, etc. The rooms are a decent size and all of the guests thought the hotel was a great location to the local amenities such as coffee shops, markets, banks and In-n-out. And South Coast Plaza is just on the other side of the freeway!
