We had a PHENOMENAL wedding...the casual-yet-classy oceanside ceremony we wanted, while treating our guests to a traditional NE Lobster and Clambake! We were surprised by a sudden summer storm (luckily while dinner was being served and we were all under the tend), but it made for great post-storm/ceremony photos against the stone wall and the ocean!
We'd recommend the Seacoast area to anyone!!
Cedar was unbelievably cool, organized...so helpful...she knew exactly what to order, and kept allowing us to change to the appropriate amount of tables when the guest count changed so we got the best deal. Terrific communication and customer service!
We had a traditional lobster and clam bake...our guests LOVED it...Beth, the coordinator was so warm and engaging, and we didn't have to do a thing the day of!
They provided appetizers, the cake, and our bar service. Well coordinated service with Foster's and a pro at creating events at Odiorne. And who doesn't love a Galley Hatch cake??
Worked with us to create ceremony music, cocktail hour playlist, and let us have the perfect low key ceremony that kept folks dancing without being a "show." LOVE her!
Paul was a phenomenal communicator...our driver was fun, punctual, cordial to the wedding party and our guests. It was a great way to get our guests to the ceremony !
We had a great 8 hour package...and you have the option to buy all the photos on a digital CD! Lenny knew we wanted casual and candid, and got us in and out of the formal photos as quickly as possible!
Everyone LOVED their food...we were given two private rooms upstairs...the servers were cordial and engaging...and arranging the dinner could not have been simpler! (It was also a BIG bonus to have it literally in between the Sheraton and the Hilton!)
The location was beautiful...and our guests loved it. We had to do a little tent/table re-arranging due to heavy rains in the week...which is expected with an outdoor venue.
However, the bathrooms were ABSOLUTELY filthy...to the point where my aunt had to clean them the night before!!! We were promised they would be clean. Also, the woman who is the "volunteer" who coordinates the weddings was quite full of herself and demanded things like a copy of my guest list a couple of days before the wedding. Sites do not do that, nor was it even viewed by the gate attendant that day. She was the only stressful part of my wedding...her attitude and demeanor are not befitting someone who represents the State Park system or the Seacoast.
I would like to say a big thank you to the lady in Concord who helped me navigate the necessary event insurance....SHE was really great.
SO helpful with the wedding block, fantastic lobby bar to hang out in...great rooms, easy location, would definitely return.
