Our wedding was fantastic and part of that went to great planning. Weddingmapper was a huge help in making sure that all of our out-of-town guests (and even some of our in-town guests) knew exactly where to go and when to be there. The DIY section of weddingmapper was very clear and helpful in creating the insert for my invitations. I will recommend this site to all of my friends when they plan their weddings.
Joey Dels was very flexible and accomodating. We had over 430 guests and there was more than enough food. We had chicken cordon bleu and roast beef. Joey Dels is very experienced and we had all of our guests through the buffet lines within 15-20 minutes. We had many compliments on the food. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
DJ Scott was very flexible and helpful. Our dance floor was packed most of the night. He played a huge variety of music (at our request) including oldies, current pop, country, polka, and rap.
One of the most important planning parts of the wedding was making sure I got my photographer right...and she was incredible. I had two photographers there before, during, and after the wedding. Michelle's style is photojournalistic, so she captured all of the little details that were so important to me. My pictures are beautiful and I will treasure them forever. She was hands down the best choice for wedding photography. No question.
Bob's Floral is a little hard to get in touch with (not online), but if you can get your flowers through them-its a must. They have the experience to know exactly how to make your wedding flowers look exiquiste within your budget. They were wonderful.
All of my bridesmaid, my mother, grandmother, and I all got our hair done at Regis in the Galleria the morning of the wedding. (We booked way in advance!!) They made sure that we were all ready within a strict amount of time and I had my own stylist (BJ) dedicated specifically for myself and my mom. They allowed us to bring breakfast snacks and mimosas as well. They were very clean and friendly. It was great for all of us to be in one place that morning together.
We used Bridal Suite because they were the only tux vendors in town the had the Mossy Oak camo vests available. They were mostly accomodating and on time. Two of our groomsmen had last minute sizing issues with their tuxes, but they were fixed before the wedding.
Red Carpet was a little pricey, but with a wedding party of our size (9 attendents each) we needed to super size our limo. We got the limo party bus and it was awesome. We had tons of space, I think at one point we even had a mini-dance party. The bar in the party bus came fully stocked with soda and select liqour. Our driver (Ed) was so nice and flexible with shooting locations. Red Carpet worked with us to make sure that we were only paying for limo time that we were using. They were fantastic!
The hall was beautiful for the day of the wedding. We didn't have to worry about any set up (with the exception of the decorations, of course) and they even cleaned up at the end of the night. It is a little pricey-but a huge space and really nice people.
Mandy was very helpful with getting everything set up for the day. We were able to reserve a meeting room to set up pizza there after the reception to hang out with friends. The best part about the Comfort Inn was that they offered a shuttle between the reception and the hotel-which was a great (and safe!) touch for our guests.
