Our wedding was a great day, but it didn't run as smoothly as we had hoped. The florist, despite confirmation, thought we were getting married the following day so there was a mild panic on her part, but we were ok about it. She was really helpful and pulled everything together very quickly.
We were told the celebrant would arrive about half an hour beforehand, she turned up between 3:40 and 3:45, so all the planning that went into the music before the ceremony went out the window, and people were waiting for her to arrive. I've actually taken her details down as I don't want to recommend her to anyone, as she was really quite rude about it when my friends were on the point of ringing her up to find out where she was.
The dress was lovely, Linda is a lovely lady, all the staff in the shop are pleased to answer any questions you have. That the dresses are made in the shop, in Melbourne, for you means that the price is exceptional quality. Don't be persuaded to by a cheaper dress made overseas in a sweatshop to a bog-standard design, it's a false economy.
The venue is gorgeous, the duty manager on shift was very helpful - but ensure you get everything in writing as we were told verbally that our room on the wedding night was part of the package, then had to pay for it.
