Our wedding was magical and the best day of my life. The weather was the best it had been or was on June 14th...always a gamble to have an outdoor wedding in June. The Marina del Rey Marriott was the perfect location, in the heart of West LA for our intown guests, with tons of hotels and things to do for our out-of-towners. We did a lot of planning and work ourselves, saving money. Recommend interviewing at least three of each type of vendor, to compare and get the best value. Also recommend using "The Bride's Essential Wedding Planner" by Amy Nebens. It really helped cover all the bases.
Slater Entertainment was wonderful! The DJ, Mat Vipond, played exactly what we asked for and improvised based on our likes & dislikes.
Jill Nomura was fantastic. She listened to the style of flowers, colors, shapes we wanted and our budget restrictions, and created beautiful floral arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces and a chupah.
Although we have not seen our video yet, Bob Stearns and his wife were wonderful to work with, and their sample videos look great. Also, very resonablly priced.
(818) 501-6641 Julie has done multiple events for our family and is a delight to work with. She gets to know everyone important and really gets all the shots! Very inexpensive, but high quality, digital or analog photos.
The most beautiful view of the beach and the inland from Long Beach to Santa Barbara from atop the hotel on the helicopter pad. Looks great during the day and sparkles at night!
The ballroom has three sides of ceiling to waist windows that really show off the beautiful view. It feels like you're eating in the sky. Amazing sunset and wonderful food service...all meals were hot and moist!
My Father-in-law loved it..quaint beach hotel with a lot of character, 2 blocks from the beach.
