Getting married in Iowa City - my hometown - was wonderful. Iowans are friendly, and no one tried to take advantage of us "wedding consumers." We were able to make things affordable, although it made things a little more difficult for guests to travel to Iowa.

Beautiful reception place for a small to medium-size wedding, very reasonable price as well. New air-conditioning and sound system (you can just plug in your iPod). Received many compliments on the space.

Reserve your block of hotel rooms for your family well in advance (we were unable to reserve any). Perfect location downtown, one block from Old Brick. Only one of my friends was able to reserve a room here.
