We are so excited to see everyone next year! We hope the weather will cooperate but we are assured of one thing, no matter what Port Townsend is a beautiful, quaint Victorian town with endless possibilities for exploration: shopping, hiking, cycling, beach-combing, whatever your interest, there's an activity.
They showed up, didn't spin music without being told several times, didn't engage the crowd whatsoever and didn't announce our song so our dance was halfway done before our parents knew it was going on. Also the music was really quiet. These DJs did not know what was going on.
Cake was stunning. Absolutely beautiful fondant decoration. The only thing I would say is the cake was not the most moist and delicious. It was tasty, but not to die for.
The carpet in the back and front of the chapel needs to be redone. It's nasty.
The contractual vendor for Fort Worden, Bon Appetit, was terrible to work with! They lied to us about prices on head count and charged us an extra $1,300. We were told we would only be charged for bodies through the buffet line. In actuality, B.A. used our seating chart to up the count we had given them WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION and charged us for 12 people who did not come but were listed on the seating chart. Do not trust these people!! If you must work with them, you have to get every single word in writing or they will find a way to charge you more money than what was agreed upon.
