We had our wedding in Chicago in October and the whole thing had a big Chicago theme. It was big and fancy and a ton of fun. Vendors (and venues) in Chicago tend to be a little more expensive than we would have liked, but if you search hard enough you can find some great people and prices out there. We were so lucky with all of our vendors, they really made the day special.
They were a ton a fun, and we got a lot of compliments. They aren't an old "formal" band... they play recent music. Almost like a cross between having a DJ (without the cheesey songs) and a band. Plus their prices for an 8 piece band were better than any I had seen by a long shot. They couldn't be more perfect, plus they learned our first dance song for us!
Our cake was a Chicago themed cake, and they took our ideas and made them even cooler. There were even LED lights that looked like stars. They were so easy to work with and their prices blew everyone else out of the water. They were definitely one of our favorite vendors.
The church was lovely and everyone so helpful leading up to the wedding. There was some frustrations during the rehearsal and then with them rushing us out of there right after the ceremony, but overall very nice.
Amazing place, amazing view and everyone had a great time. Unfortunately it rained earlier in the evening, and they didn't have a really good place for us to take pictures inside since they were doing construction on exhibits that they did not tell us about. Otherwise I highly recommend it, our guests LOVED it.
Overall really great, we had a few issues with one person's check in and later with the bag check, but over all it was a wonderful place to stay.
