Scott was great. Despite a family member falling ill right before our announcement he was on the ball and kept the party and mood going strong. Everyone had a blast and the music choices were perfect.
This is a beautiful spot to get married. They don't allow you to have tents though so you are risking it. It started to rain during my ceremony, noone seemed to really care but it did cause a little chaos. Additionally, their was a miscommunication between employees at Long Pasture and no one was there up until 10 mins before the ceremony began. My nerves were shot. They did give us 250.00 back and apologized. They charge 950.00 and request you become a member at 50.00.
We had a great time at Harbor Point. The food was great and reasonably priced. Bob works with in your budget and doesn't make you feel bad about it. All of our guests had a great time. Only downfall is that you have to decorate yourself. It is too much work for a bride. Also, I almost hit my head on the ceiling duct work during the Horah. Other than that I would highly recommend it. I would also recommend that a bride rent buses for transportation so guests don't have to worry about driving since 6a can be windy and dangerous.
The cape codder was good. Our guests had a great time. I would say it is a bit over-priced. Additionally, the concierge desk could not get it together when our guests would call. Our wedding was on a Sunday and they kept making guests book for 2 days, despite our coordinator requesting that they didn't have to. I had to field a lot of calls for the room blocks. It was annoying. Our coordinator was very nice though.
We had our rehearsal dinner at the Aquagrille in Sandwich, the food was great and the waitresses were extremely nice and helpful. Our guests enjoyed their meals.
