Getting married in the San Francisco area was great! A little pricey, but fun and beautiful. We suggest looking into getting married in the off season, and on a Friday or Sunday, that will help keep costs down. Wedding mapper was a great help in providing location details, and location perspective to our guests.
Brian Fitzsimmons, the owner was amazing to work with. He was laid back and had great suggestions. I would love to work with him again for future events.
Phoenix was amazing! She is so creative and great to work with. She goes above and beyond. I can't wait to use her again for other events.
Katrina's cakes are beautiful and taste great! She custom designed our cake to mimic my wedding dress. Amazing! Katrina and her staff are professional, friendly and great to work with with. I highly recommend using this bakery for all celebrations!
Working with Mark Peters was great! He was calm and laid back. Very professional, and took all the photos you would want. He was quick to get the photos to us in time for the holidays.
The Martinelli Event Center is a beautiful place to have any event. We held our wedding ceremony and reception there. It made it so much easier for all our of out of town guests. They allow one event at a time. So you have a few different options for your needs. We used the whole place. The terrace for the ceremony, the courtyard for the cocktail hour, and a 'ballroom' for the reception. The catering was amazing! The down side was they started cleaning up the room and setting up for the next day before we even had our last dance. Be aware the coordinators will try to make extra cash off of you for being your 'wedding planner'. For a Bride and Groom that work in the hospitality/food industry, you can find someone cheaper that does more.
The Courtyard by Marriott, Livermore is a convenient, location. They have a friendly and helpful staff. We used their free shuttle service to get guests to and from our wedding site. (with-in a 10 mile radius). They recently remodeled their lobby. One suggestion is to make sure they know your event time. They tried to tell our guests the wrong time for our event. Although, our guests really enjoyed the breakfast.
