A little flakey at times and slow to set up on the day, but all in all, the flowers and other design elements more than made up for any other shortcomings. Absolutely gorgeous.
This is the only vendor we were disapointed with. It's pricey, the photographer was unfriendly, difficult to locate throughout the night and seemed to have no interest in posing people or getting a good shot with the end result being that he in fact, did not get good shots. The pictures were poorly balanced and the lighting was horrific (despite the fact that we had a lighting company and our friends photos are lit beautifully).
The day of, the staff of Bridgewaters was exceptional- you could really tell that they host weddings all the time. The downside being that b/c they provide everything, you can't customize as much as you'd like or if you do, it will be much more expensive then if you started with a loft & then brought in a caterer, vendors, etc (i.e. they make the cake, but the design is limited; wine choices are limited, etc). We added the raw bar and champagne bar, the raw bar was phenomenal.
Top notch service as you would expect from a Ritz, however, some of the decor and room touches are not as up to snuff as say, the Peninsula or the like.
The corporate representatives we spoke to on the phone were great, but the actual hotel is so-so and the staff are way too busy to do much in the way of service.
