Stacy and James' Wedding
Our wedding was beautiful and perfect, particularly the ceremony at Preservation Park. We absolutely love that site and would recommend it over and over again. Such a gem in Oakland...and both of us grew up in Oakland and didn't even know about this place. We took photos there and later at Piedmont cementary (no tombstones in our photos). Cheryl Lew makes gorgeous and extremely tasty cake with unique flavors. We had Meyers lemon cake and Kahlua Mocha...both incredibly delicious. Plus, she's been on and won a challenge on the Food Network!

Excellent, friendly, yet professional service from Barbara Ackerman. Preservation Park is a true gem in Oakland. Not much flowers needed because the place has its own natural beauty!
View Wedding Ceremony
Large and spacious for huge wedding. It was able to accomodate 680 guests (especially needed for big Asian weddings). The Gen Manager, Winston, was not the most friendly, not accomodating, and argumentative with an attitude. They are smart there cause they don't allow you to discuss the details until 2 weeks prior to the event...when you're STUCK with the place! Food was ok and edible, but justified with such a big event.

They forgot to book our bridal suite until I remembered to call and confirm three days prior to the wedding. Talk about stress! And the coordinator was no where to be found except via email. When we finally got ahold of her a day later, she didn't even apologized. Once we were checked in, everything was fine.
