Michael at Coastal Gourmet worked with us to create a Spanish-themed buffet adhering to our dietary restrictions. The menu included seafood and chicken paella, Rioja-braised beef, salmon with olive tapenade and grilled squash. The customized wedding cake came with the package and featured layers of orange and vanilla cake with chocolate and orange mousse fillings and buttercream frosting -- so delicious! The event coordinator, Susan, went above and beyond, ensuring that both the wedding and reception ran smoothly. The top-notch service staff put together all our centerpieces and used the extra oranges to create gorgeous centerpieces for the outside tables. And all for a great price!
David Ruzicka is fantastic filmmaker! He has such a great eye and made our wedding day video feel so cinematic and fresh. His editing is spot-on and goes perfectly with the music. He truly captured our unique vision and personalities, as well as those of all our guests. We will cherish the DVD forever and can't wait to show our children some day!
I purchased the flowers for the bouquet, corsages and boutonnieres here and had my friend put them together. McQuade's has a large selection of exotic and colorful flowers and greenery.
We loved working with Mystic Arts. Their staff was friendly, and the riverside venue is great for a mid-sized summer wedding. They have a few restrictions regarding start and end times and decor, but they're also willing to work with you. Highly recommended!
We stayed in the "Valiant" room, which opens out onto the dock and has a great view of the river and the drawbridge. The complimentary breakfasts in the morning were fantastic and the staff was extremely accommodating. They allowed us to tie the rowboat we were using for the send-off up to the dock the day before the wedding. The only issue was the loud and frequent bridge whistle.
