Our wedding was great! We were married in River Forest/Elmwood Park but our vendors were from all over Chicago. We loved most of our vendors and only had issues with one after the wedding. The day was beautiful even with the little rain we had right before the ceremony.
This was a polish American band and they were very easy to work with. We gave them our Do Not Play list and they followed it very nicely. The singer was very helpful they day of and helped out a lot with everything that had to do with music.
Cake was delicious. We took two different pictures of cakes and had them modify to our liking. The made the cake just as we imagined it.
After reading a bad review the week before my wedding, I was getting nervous about the flowers. And even though they were a little late bringing the flowers, they turned out beautiful and they made them exactly as I wanted them.
Overall, I loved the photos, but it took over 3 months to get to me and another set of pictures was almost lost in the mail. Also,I wish the photographer would have taken more pictures of just us, we don't have many pictures of just the two of us.
We loved our video, but our DVD player would not play the dvd's and we were only able to view the video on our PS2. I contacted Paul about this issue and he sent me out another 3 copies within a week on a different DVD.
Even though the limo was hot and the AC took forever to kick on. I was pleased with the service since we booked them 3 days before the wedding. Unfortunately, we were not able to get a white limo, but they sent us a black Stretch Excursion for the price of the white limo.

We went to the Woodfield mall location and worked with Ruben. We had no problems with them and the rings are beautiful.
We picked out the tuxes at the Men's Wearhouse in Schaumburg and everyone was able to go to any location and pick up their tuxes. One of our groomsmen ordered his at the last minute and in Arizona and was able to pick up in Chicago.
I'm giving them this grade because- the customer service was outstanding, but my dress did not fit and I don't know whose fault it was, my bad measuring or their mistake with the sizing. The dress also took some time to come in, but they called me as soon as it was ready.
Alice was great to work with from the beginning. She is very nice and a great teacher. She was very patient with us and I would recommend her services to anyone.
I first ordered the necklaces from a vendor online and after getting some ugly things that they called jewelry, I contacted Monique which I should have done in the first place. I sent her an email with the description and the picture of what I wanted and she was able to take care of it for me.
Mary was awesome. Upon receiving my dress it did not fit and I wanted to cry. I know I did not gain weight since I was the same size when ordering, so I don't know what went wrong there. Mary was able to make me a "Victorian" style back with the cross tie.
I was disappointed with them. The food was very good but the service was horrible. They just brought out the food and never came back to check on us. My husband had to get them to bring more drinks or whatever other issues we had with them. Would not recommend them at all.
Erica was awesome to work with. We were running late from the hair salon and she waited about 10 minutes for us to get back. She did my make up and my sister. She then had to wait about 30 minutes until my mom got back to do her make up.
Sylvia did a wonderful job on my hair. We did a trial two weeks before and she did it exactly as I wanted it. She also did my 2 MOH's hair, my mom's, grandmothers and aunts. She is always great to work with.
I won a trip through 103.5 kiss fm and we ended up staying at the NY NY hotel and casino. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were able to check in upon our early arrival and then we upgraded our room with no problems.
At first everything seemed fine and I thought it would be easy with them. We were supposed to meet with the parish couple about our FOCCUS results sometime within that year, but did not do it until 2weeks before the wedding. It was very frustrating because we took the "test" last June and waited this long. Our priest helped us out when we contacted him, but they still should have done this a long time ago. Then we had a hard time getting a hold of the worship director, had to have our priest intervene again. When we met with him about 3-4 weeks prior to the wedding, he informed us we must hurry up and set up a time for our rehearsal and to meet with the wedding coordinator. All the papers they make you print out from their internet site, state that the coordinator will contact you 2 months prior to your wedding and go over everything and then I'm told that I have to contact her. We also had to pay her for I don't know what, since she didn't even know what she was doing during the rehearsal. The rehearsal was a disaster and even the priest was beginning to get frustrated with her. I don't know if anything went wrong on the day of since I was in the bride's room and everything seemed to be alright at that point. It's a beautiful church but they are not very organized. Also, we were supposed to arrive at church at 2:30 and were running about 5-10 minutes late and the wedding that was held before us was still there taking pictures when we arrived and delayed us even more because all their limos were still in front. But when we were taking posed photos in the church the wedding coordinator came to tell us we have 5 minutes left. I was very disappointed with her from the beginning.
Father Tom our officiant was great. Here is the review for him.
Upon our first meeting, he was great. Made us feel at ease. Father Tom has been very helpful, even wrote letters for me stating that we'll be getting married on June 16th so that my family from Poland has a better chance of getting Visas to come here. We didn't have any problems with Father Tom, he was very helpful through out the planning process.
The food was great, everyone enjoyed it. Agnieszka the manager was very helpful prior to the day and the day of. She asked us if we would like to serve the dinner on time or wait a few minutes. Then about a half hour until 12 she asked us we would like to extend past 12 or finish at 12. The staff was also very nice, they helped us clear up all my centerpieces and we were able to pack up the sweet table at the end of the night. I was very pleased with their service from the beginning until the end. I did not have any major issues or problems with them. The only thing I would recommend is to speak with the Manager not the assistant, they have the same names and the assistant manager is rather slow at times.
