Laguna Beach was gorgeous and a fun place for all our guests to go to. Renting a house on the beach was the ultimate way to go for us - both of our families stayed in the house and friends stayed in the adjoining hotel. We had a three-day party that was relaxed and joyful. Though planning with all of the vendors was a bit of a headache, it turned out beautifully in the end. The wedding mapper was a great resource and fun to use and share.
The food was pretty good, but I feel like she had too much on her plate sometimes - she showed up 2 hours later than she told me she would, and some details I thought we had agreed upon were different than what was in my contract. Despite several mishaps, everything looked beautiful in the end. She will handle all the ceremony decorations for the Pacific Edge, so that was a big plus for us.
The House itself was lovely - an absolute perfect place for our wedding. The hotel, Vacation Village, that owns and runs the house was very difficult to work with over the phone. Once we arrived, the service was great, but the entire time planning they were difficult to get a hold of and at times rude.
The hotel was convenient for us and our guests. It was great that it was right on the beach. The rooms were a bit small, and the front desk staff was difficult to deal with concerning blocks of rooms and were generally unreliable.
