If you can't tell from my reviews, Jeff and I had the most incredible wedding experience we could have ever imagined. We truly enjoyed working with each and every one of our vendors, and felt unbelievably blessed that we were able to share such a beautiful August weekend in Louisville with all of our friends and family.
Weasie not only is an incredibly gifted photographer, but she was an absolute joy to work with. My husband and I were fairly uncomfortable in front of the camera to begin with, and she really helped us to feel comfortable and coach us as to how we needed to stand, etc.. We really enjoyed working with her and appreciate her sense of humor and personal way of working with her clients. I highly recommend Weasie for any photography you need!!!
We had a blast with Live Revival. They played a perfect mix of classic rock, oldies, popular music and a little country. They had our guests literally dancing until the lights came on. They couldn't have been nicer or made us feel more special. I'm so glad we decided to spend a little extra on the band (they were in the mid-high range of band costs), and since they were coming from Nashville, they didn't charge us any travel costs. They were fantastic to work with and played everything we asked them to and more.
I've been a member of Highland Presbyterian for my whole life, and my parents were married there as well. It's a very welcoming and open community, and my husband's and my experience working with the wedding coordinator, the janitorial staff and the minister was exceptional, highly personal, comfortable and friendly.
Erica Schnell and her team at The Ice House, and Nikki Deese and her team with Crushed Ice Catering, could not have been more wonderful to work with. They listened to our desires and provided creative suggestions and visions along the way, while working within our budget. They acted as our wedding planners throughout the entire process, and directly communicated with our vendors. We couldn't have been more grateful. We were beyond pleased with the end result and the reception was more beautiful and fantastic than any event we could have ever imagined.
The Louisville Marriott Downtown is a beautiful hotel, and our guests enjoyed their stays. There are a lot of nice amenities and the rooms are big and comfortable. We appreciated the kind service, but we did feel as though there ended up being a lot of added costs that we didn't concur at our other (slightly cheaper) hotel option we provided to our guests. For instance, there are no airport shuttles and reception would not distribute gift bags (as we've seen at infinite hotels for weddings.) In all, we enjoyed out stay, and also appreciated the extra perks as the newlyweds.
The staff at the Courtyard was very nice and very service oriented. They were happy to distribute our wedding gift bags and keep us updated on our room block regularly. Our guests enjoyed their stay at the Courtyard.
