Lindsey was a dream to work with. She kept everyone moving to get all the pictures done without even once seeming bossy! She did our engagement pics, bridal portraits, and wedding pics. She was able to quickly edit the pictures for us, and everytime we were amazed with how beautiful the pictures were. Everyone that came into contact with her at our wedding complimented her. She is also very reasonably priced!
Our cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I dreamed. Gretchen worked around the amount I could spend and even suggested some money-saving options such as styro cake layers and sheet cakes. The cake was so delicios that people came over the next day to finish it off! She also created a groom's cake in the shape of a Clemson and Steeler football helmet. All of the guys fell in love with it!
This Florist was horrible to work with and made me dread meeting with her at all. She originally gave us a price quote and then constantly lowered what she produced without coming down on the price. She never provided me a mock-up of the centerpieces (always had excuses). She also tried to charge us more on the day of the wedding rehearsal! She was extremely rude to everyone that came into contact with her. She was hired to also serve as the wedding director, but was so unorganized that the wedding party left the rehearsal more confused than rehearsed. She does not handle stress well and was much more of a problem than a help with my wedding.
When searching for a church to get married in, we ran into many road blocks. Many churches in this area do not allow non-members or charge an obscene rental fee. In addition, most of the church's have many strict guidelines that limit your wedding. East North Street Baptist was the exact opposite. The preacher was so welcoming and friendly that we knew instantly this was the church for us. Steve worked with us to create a ceremony that was traditional yet special to us. We will continue to attend ENSB b/c of the hospitality they showed us when most churches didn't.
We received many compliments on The Davenport as a recpetion location. It has a very elegant look and went perfectly with our dream reception. It was extremely well priced and even allows you to bring in your own caterer and alcohol. They had some staff changes during the year that I was planning with them, so that did make things a little difficult. I found myself going over the same details many times, but I feel sure that has changed with the new event coordinator getting settled.
