We used Celebrations for the ceremony music as well as the reception. They also act as the master of ceremonies and the point of contact for others. We didn't have to worry about a thing! Much more expensive than other DJs, but worth it to have everything taken care of!
We chose this husband wife combo because we loved their candid, out of the ordinary shots. And they definitely delievred on those! They turned out AMAZING and captured every little detail of the day! Their packages also include a large coffee table book, which turned out incredible!..that alone was worth the money. You also get the original CDs with rights to all of the photos..a huge plus! If you are, however, looking for a photographer to take charge and herd the masses for group shots and the traditional wedding posses, they are not it.
Bouquests and boutennaires were beutiful! Exactly what we wanted. They also provided extras of each and vases to set them on the head table with.
We purchased all of the flowers for the reception at a stand from the Farmers market. We arranged it with the family at the beginning of the summer, then went back two weeks ahead with a vase and we created the centerpieces together. We picked them all up the morning of the wedding, and they were perfect! Over 300 flowers (20 centerpieces + several bouquets and 20 single flowers for bud vases)only cost $75!! They also loaded us up with some extra veggies!
Absolutely amazing location! There is no place more beautiful in the area! Gorgeous flowers everywhere you turn, gazebo in front for the ceremony, a pond and trelis behind. It is just stunning! All our guests were blown away. It is affordable to rent, and the staff are very helpful. You may share the day with up to 3 other weddings, but plenty of space is scheduled in between. Must reserve chairs, tent, etc on your own. First reservation gets the final say on the setup. We recommend handing out water bottles if it's a hot day!
Cannot find a better location in Madison! It is right in the heart of State Street and the UW campus. The veranda overlooking state street and the Memorial Union is amazing! Food was fantastic! You'll have the entire venue to yourself also..no sharing with multiple weddings. It is so intimate and the building provides a historic, elegant, fun atmosphere.
Great value for the location and service. It's not the fanciest hotel, but it very clean. They also did not give out all of the gift bags we gave them for guests as they checked in.
Fantastic! Such a fun place for a rehearsal dinner! We ahd the whole back room with a limited menu, maragritas, and Lone Star beer for 40 people.
