Ocala was a perfect town for our Fall wedding. After an afternoon church ceremony, we hosted our evening reception at the Hilton.
We held our reception at the Ocala Hilton, whose staff are very organized and familiar with the event planning process. They ensured that every concern was followed up on quickly. They made the planning easy- and even gave us a layout map of how our room would look the day of the event. The Saratoga was the perfect size for our group of family and friends. No setting up or cleaning up- they took care of the whole process. They placed items we wished to have in the room on the tables/ etc. The menu had a nice selection of food.
Great wedding night accommodations.
David's very convenient in that I could have all my bridesmaids go at their leisure to pick out and get fitted for their dresses. I didn't have the hassle of having to get the whole group together since they had locations near to all of them. I had each choose their own style dress in the same color. I liked that they had the freedom to choose dresses that they were happy with and that could fit in a price range they were comfortable with. They even replaced a dress the week prior to the wedding because the size no longer fit one of the maids. David's has a wide assortment of colors and styles. I also got my dress from them, and was happy with my dress. My only concern was that the store is often so busy on weekends, that during one of my maid's appointment I felt that the consultant was too busy to focus.
Men's Wearhouse took care of the tuxes. The men could each pick up their tux at the location of their choice and return it the following day to any location.
My husband and I really enjoyed working with Cindi- She is very upbeat and passionate about photography. She took a lot of real life, not overly "posed" photos that captured the memorable moments.
