Kevin was very professional throughout our whole planning process. He goes above and beyond probably every vendor in his field. He is a pleasure to work with - and our wedding went exactly how we wanted it too. He is from England, so his English accent is a bonus. :)
Sandy did an absolutely amazing job with our bouquets, church decorations, and reception centerpieces. Everything looked absolutely stunning!! She has worked with Belhurst Castle many, many times, so she definitely knows what to expect if you decide to have your wedding there. She is a pleasure to work with and is another vendor who goes above and beyond for her clients!
Beautiful church, and wonderful staff. They are more appreciative if the couple getting married actually cares about the sacrament, and aren't just interested in having a pretty church to get married in. If you do not belong to that specific church, and aren't related to anyone else that is, then you will not have your date/church confirmed until 9 months before your wedding date. They give priority to their parishioners. They do have two churches in their parish though, so if for some reason someone in the parish wants the same date/time as you, then you will have to use the other church.
The venue and view of the lake is absolutely stunning. On the day of, they do a wonderful job. Carmen is the woman who runs all of the weddings, and she can be a little difficult to work with. She is the nicest person, but is not very prompt at responding to emails/phone calls. There were several times during our year+ of planning that she would go more than a month before she responded to us (and we would send several follow-up emails and phone calls). The day of the wedding was wonderful and everything was what we wanted, but there were many headaches and much stress leading up to it that could have easily been avoided.
Beautiful hotel - a few problems with booking rooms (they would tell guests rooms weren't available when in reality many were). You have to pay for the breakfast - but it is a great one! :)
Rooms were pretty decent (considering the price) but there were many, many headaches. They kept losing guests reservations, and were not giving them the rate that I was quoted at. I had to go through my ENTIRE guest list with them on 3 separate occasions to tell them who should be under our room block.
