Overall we had an absolutely amazing day!! All of our vendors and the individuals at each of our venues made our day a breeze, stressless and were extremely professional and accommodating! Sturbridge is a great location to have a fall wedding especially if your on a tight budget and/or are looking for a a central location for family and friends coming from different parts of the New England and New York area. We used the wedding mapper for directions for our invitations, our website and for our welcome bags, it was easy to use and looked nice!
Dave was very helpful and friendly, he has a lot of experience and played great songs and knew when to play what to get people on the dance floor!
Our driver was so sweet. It was pouring out and he followed me around and carried my train everywhere we went without me even asking him too. He got along really well with my husband and I and our wedding party!
I was really nervous about the flowers because I had an idea in my head of what I wanted. Michele was really friendly and was able to take what I had in my head and made the bouquets, church and reception flowers look beautiful and exceeded anything I could have hoped for.
It was pouring rain out the day of our wedding and John was still able to get amazing pictures without adding any stress to us. He made sure to get all of the list of pictures that we had wanted to get without being annoying or pushy. He spent the entire day with us and got along great with our family and friends.
This catholic church is absolutely gorgeous. It made for beautiful pictures. It is pretty big and is not really for someone who wants an intimate ceremony.
My husband is from MA and I am originally from NY so the Publick House was a perfect halfway location for our families. Everyone at the Publick House Inn was really laid back and accommodating. The food and drinks were fabulous and they set up everything for the reception how we had requested it. We had a bunch of special requests (i.e. paint guest book, kids and remembrance table, slide show, etc) for the reception that I was worried they would not be to keen on but they were open to letting us do whatever we wanted. Cake was made onsite and was delicious!
We didn't stay here but our guests did. As far as we know everything was good. Its an ideal location if you have your reception at the Publick House because its less than a mile away and they gave a good price for those who booked through the room block. The staff we dealt with to book the rooms were very nice and accommodating and delivered the welcome bags to all of the rooms with no charge.
