This is our church. Choir was fantastici. If I had to do it over I'd insist on a rehearsal (Priest said it wasn't necessary; it was.) Things were a bit chaotic, but we had no coordinator here, so that's partially our fault. We did have a reception coordinator, and that was money well spent...word to the wise!!!
Some communication issues in the beginning, but by the end they had done so much to rectify these, and really did everything they could to ensure our night was awesome. Highly recommend this venue for a casual reception. Everyone had an awesome time...So glad we had our reception here.
Worst experience imaginable. This place is a mess administratively. This was our main hotel, and the place most of our guests stayed, including my husband and myself. I blocked 10 rooms, 13 at least were booked, most for more than the two nights. The hotel management didn't record them correctly and are trying to get me to pay for four rooms! Guests were calling me to say that the hotel could not find any rooms under my name weeks before the wedding and I was constantly having to call the hotel to try to clear matters up. Obviously matters never were. Meantime, they are holding $500 I left as a deposit that is rightfully mine! And that's not all...the AC wasn't working in our honeymoon suite, and so the room was too sweltering to use the night before the wedding. I ended up sleeping at my home with my husband instead of apart as we had planned. Luckily the temperature dropped 20 degrees on our wedding day and we were able to use the room for the second night (our wedding night). Many other guests had multiple complaints as well. Low point in the entire experience.
