Lake Forest was a beautiful and memorable place to get married. As me and my husband look back to our wedding day, we would have changed nothing. The location, the day, and the people all added up to be everything we ever dreamed of. The end of August was a perfect time--not too hot, not too cold. A wedding in Lake Forest can get really expensive, but I managed to find alternative venues in order to keep our wedding in our price range.
We really wanted the food at our wedding to be something we would eat everyday. What better everyday food than barbeque! Famous Daves was delicious, affordable, and our guests raved about how this was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding!
This was a privately owned flower shop in Mundelien, IL. I love orchids and they provided me with the most beautiful orchids imaginable. The reason I rated them lower was because of the way they wrapped the bouquets....not my favorite look...very 80's irridescent ribbons. I asked for ivory ribbons.
Christ Church left a lasting impression of beauty and commitment on me. I will forever remember the promise I made in that beautiful church.
Great price for many out of town guests. The staff was also very warm and inviting by letting relatives use the breakfast area to socialize after the wedding.
Unique...just like the groom and me! I loved the open, high ceilings and hardwood floors.
