Baraboo is about 2 hours from our home, but we picked it because of the memories and beauty in the area. We chose October and it was Peak Color season in the area - which if you aren't from Wisconsin, means that the trees were in FULL Fall Color!!! We kept it small - 54 guests, and did all the cooking ourselves. We didn't have a florist either, the morning of the wedding my maid of honor and I went into town to find flower shop, and ended up getting a good bit of our raw materials at a farmers market in town! If you are looking for a florist - Roger who owns Amber Moon in downtown is so creative, I'd check him out! We all stayed the weekend in cottages - but they sold to the state park, so i can't reccommend them anymore - sorry! The town has everything to offer and we'd do it all again in a minute!
CaSandra understood and embraced the love and spirituality of our relationship. She radiates warmth and positive energy and was a perfect fit for us. Our day wouldn't have been the same or complete without her.
Christina is amazing! She captured all the little moments for us. We aren't big into the "formal" portraits so her photojournalist style was exactly what we were looking for. Our pictures are alive with energy and beauty! She can't be beat!We just got married and i can't wait to place our order, the hardest part is deciding which of the MANY MANY photos to pick....we'll take them ALL!
We have such amazing memories in this park that it was an obvious choice for us. Even if it isn't a sentimental choice for you, it is absolutely beautiful. It overlooks Devils Lake, is surrounded by bluffs and is intimate and charming. We only had 50 guests and it was a perfect fit.
