Absolutely Amazing! They did so much for us. It was perfect. Perfect scene, perfect Gazebo, perfect music, perfect carriage ride, perfect hair. Our wedding was gorgeous. My only complaint is that their price for fireworks is astronomical compared to U.S. prices. However, in retrospect, my hair was so perfectly sprayed in place, that fireworks probably would have set me ablaze. 10/10 for the wedding. The food is a bit hit and miss, but hey, it's all inclusive. Stay away from the sushi and stick to the Italian and Mexican food. And when it comes to the drinks, if you want to get drunk, ask for a triple and don't eat while drinking. It's pretty watered down, but that's how all inclusive places work. Our ocean view room was spectacular to wake up and go to bed to. The birds sound like paradise, the staff is super friendly, and the inclusive tours are fantastic. The Mayan ruins were so complex. We had no idea. Our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge. We don't usually enjoy historical outings, but this guy took it to a whole new level. I give the resort, minus the wedding a 9.5/10. I would definitely go there again, now that I know which restaurants to eat at and which to avoid.
Beautiful view. It's located on a Native American reservation, so no fireworks are allowed. The staff didn't tell us until the day before our wedding reception that the building didn't have any air conditioning. The catering company, Bay Laurel, created delicious food that was within our budget. The catering staff treated us like royalty. All in all, you can't beat the view and the large space that the outside deck and lower dock offer. It was a beautiful event.
