A beautiful place to hold a wedding ceremony - with the stained glass windows, at the top of a hill on Pepperdine's campus overlooking the Pacific Ocean! They work with all religions, and although a bit overpriced and very strict with the rules, it was sentimental to Dave since he was an alumni. All the guests loved it!
I couldn't have asked for a better reception venue! Gorgeous, larger than life European decorations, by the ocean...it made me feel like a princess all night! The staff was attentive, and took care of everything! I would definitely recommend it! We booked it on a Monday night to avoid the larger weekend fees.
Very attentive. Did everything we asked for. Most of my relatives stayed here on Campus. Budget friendly, and clean rooms.
I thought this would be a great location for my guests - right across the street from Casa Del Mar (My reception venue), but with the failing economy last year, none of my guests wanted to pay the nearly $250 per night rate. When I tried to cancel my room block, the man that took over for the lady I had booked it with originally, threatened me that my credit card would be charged with all 10 rooms for 4 nights each if I couldn't get my guests to book there. I finally just canceled my entire block, since nobody wanted to spend the money. Your guests will stay where they can afford, and you don't need the added stress of a $10K hotel bill on top of your reception bill.
None of my guests stayed here. Too pricey. But at least they had good customer service, and didn't threaten me.
Good budget hotel. Closeby to Pepperdine, however a couple of my guests never got their "Out of Town Wedding Guest Goody" Bags.
