I can honestly say our wedding day was the best day of my life. Seaside is a beautiful little town and it's perfect if you're looking for something low-key and beachy. The water was so blue and the sand so white - you just can't compete with that kind of scenery as your backdrop. We truly did leave there kicking and screaming. If there's one thing I could have changed about the ceremony it would have been to have scheduled it a little earlier in the day. We chose to have it at sunset but it made for rushed wedding pictures after because the sun was going down so fast. Other than that, it was PERFECT.
We catered BBQ for the "dress rehearsa" the night before. When we received the food we panicked because we thought we wouldn't have enough. When we went back to the restaurant for more food, the manager personally took us back and packaged some more food up for immediately. He even threw in a few extra pounds for us! So awesome and accommodating.
They took care of EVERYTHING! From the decorations, to the minister (who we LOVED), to the photographer - I can't say enough about these planners - I wish I could give them more stars :) The ceremony was better than I could have imagined. Everyone was prompt and accommodating. The setup was gorgeous - prices were reasonable and the whole thing was worth every last dime. Happiest day of my life :)
Too pushy! We had a lousy experience. I guess to each his own, but we really wanted to be left alone for the process. The lady that helped us with the registry kept following us around and making us feel pressured to put the more expensive items on our list. Total turn off.
We used this website to have our Save the Dates made. They turned out so CUTE! Loved the vaiety of templates they provided and price ranges were within reason.
We got married on Cinco de Mayo and wanted to do buffet style fajitas for the reception. We were a little nervous that the local Mexican restaurants were going to be too slammed because of the date it fell on. Cantina Laredo was able to squeeze us in and the food was delicious! Not a single complaint. Also, we're from Texas so we were also worried that the Mexican food wouldn't compare to our usual Tex-Mex but it was much better than expected.
Perfect. Seaside is a small, quiet town so it's best for small parties. We had about 80 people between the two houses come over for the reception and we had one noise complaint... so probably best to keep your party under 50 if you plan on doing it at the beach house.
