Our wedding started with an amazing at the Church of the Ascension in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, followed by a limo trip (with chartered buses for the guests) down to Prospect Park for a candle-lit reception at the Picnic House which ran late into the evening. Everyone had a wonderful time, and we got more than a few "Best wedding ever!" shout-outs. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful, unforgettable day.
DJ Ari Rosenfield is an absolute master of mashups, with a wide-ranging musical sense that got the whole family on the dance floor without ever feeling cheesy.
A beautiful, 150-year-old Episcopalian church with a wonderfully progressive vibe led by the always-approachable Rev. John Merz.
A lovely, airy function hall right in the middle of Prospect Park. The sky was overcast the day of our wedding, but the beauty of the space itself made sure that no one noticed.
