We were married August 8, 2009 on Sunset Cliffs in beautiful San Diego, and we had a great time. We wanted an intimate wedding with our close friends and family. We had about 45 adults and 16 children. This turned out to be perfect! No socializing with obscure relatives and parents friends or neighbors. The kids also had a blast! We set up a table for them and covered it with candy, their favors were white lunch bags with their pictures on them. We put glow sticks (Michael's Craft Store $1 bins)and other candies inside. For the adults we purchased little jars and small pebbles. We filled the jars half way with the pebbles and put a personalized note inside each jar (the note was the same in every jar)then tied a ribbon around the top of the jar with a photo of our guests.
The Cake was delicious! Even people who were not necesarily "cake people" enjoyed it. It was beautiful and we were truly happy
Ann and Travis are a husband and wife team. They were professional and hands down the most relaxing people to work with. They are the photographers for the wedding and do not use other photographers. We did our engagement shoot with them as well as our wedding day. As a part of the photo packages the engagement session was included. They were flexible and willing to go anywhere we chose for the session. They only shoot one wedding at a time so no worries that they will be in a hurry to run off and do another wedding on your special day. They were patient which was really important to us on the day of our wedding as things were running late. The prices for the pictures were reasonable and we were beyond pleased with their work!
The food was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! We came in and set up in the morning before the ceremony started. (I had lots of help) I also booked my DJ through the resturaunt since it also has live bands and DJ's nightly. We started the reception around 3pm. It is a small venue, for us it was perfect because there was around 50 adults and 15 children. He let us bring in candy for the kids table (yes it got everywhere) There was no issue with bringing in the cake and the reception went smooth. If there were any problems, I did not know about it, which is how it is supposed to be.
