Our wedding was a bliss! Getting married in Cedar Falls was nice - it was close to home. There were plenty of eateries, entertainment options and hotels available, should our guests had chosen otherwise. We were so thankful to have found wedding mapper - it really helped out our out-of-town guests get around! It was a wedding to remember...as all are, right?
For the price and taste of the menu was exquisite, when it comes to BBQ! They offer quite the layout for a wedding, or other type of event! Best BBQ'd Baked beans I've had in Iowa so far! Tony was wonderful to work with!
The Beckers (Ed, Sarah and kids) were wonderful to work with! We had a cozy little lakeside cabin for under $500 for a week-long stay! The accomodations were plenty nice and cozy! It was so nice to get away from the big city noise, up north to quiet! It was a perfect honeymoon! Who wouldn't enjoy falling asleep at night to the lullaby of the loon calls? We are planning our summer vacation next summer with them! Thanks so much!
love this place! they had great service! When I walked in there I had no idea what I wanted and the sales lady was VERY patient with me! I found the dress of my dreams, and she went up and beyond what i was looking for. She added additional bead-work to my dress, and head-piece. I was able to put my dress on layaway early on, and make payments. I don't know of any other bridal shop that did this! I highly suggest shopping here for all your bridal fashion! My dress total in the end was under $300! Check out her sales room for bridemaid & mothers dresses! She also offers a sale rack of wedding gowns - all usually around the $99-200 range!
Tabitha was out of this world when it came to my wedding day beauty! As a formal makeup model, she was able to deliver quite the performance in making me beautiful for my day! She's currently taking clients and trying to build up her portfolio, so she'll cut you a great deal! She may even offer to do it for free, as was mine! If I had to do it all over again, I'd go with the same gal!
As a close friend, this guy was awesome! He is out of Iowa Falls, a small, but entertaining DJ! We gave him the type of music we'd like played for our guests during cocktail/reception time, and everyone complimented the choices! Thanks so much!
Our invitations were the best! We had our Save-the-Dates, Invites and Thank You cards all done by the same person! All said and done, we paid less that $200 for EVERYTHING!!!! DKP was able to make personalized picture-invites for us, for a fraction of the cost of what others would have charged! We urge anyone to go with them!!!
We couldn't have been more pleased with the price! The groom got his tux rental for free!
This fun guy was out of Wisconsin, but drove to our wedding! He was fantastic! We give him 7-stars! He got every shot possible, and stayed from start to finish - all for under $700!!! We couldn't have done it without this guy!
This gal does it all! We gave her a self-drawn picture, with what we were looking for, and the results were even better than we had imagined!!! The buttercream frosting was out of this world! We HIGHLY suggest her!
We chose to go with a honeymoon registry and glad we did! The feedback was great! Several of our guests had never heard of such a thing, but commented that having an online registry took alot out of driving here and there! We were able to list exactly what we wanted, and guests either brought their "gift" to the wedding/reception or mailed it to us. We suggest doing it this way (having the guest hand-deliver it, or mail it), due to the fact that if a credit card payment is made, honeyfund takes part of your money!
This is the church we attend. This church is quite large inside - big enough to hold a very large wedding. Our's wasn't. The cost to rent for non-members is a bit steep though! If planning to rent for your wedding, plan on paying close to $1000 or more. Members of the church pay $600-800 for the rental.
Excellent little location for the price! It was under $300 for our 4-6 hour reception, AND the best thing was that we could bring in our own food, without a 2nd glance from the mgmt there!
Good central location. We enjoyed our honeymoon suite here, while our other guests had their rooms here. A nice continental breakfast was offered, as well as a nice indoor pool/whirlpool area. The only complaint that we had, which wouldn't have made this a 5-star review, was the mgmt staff upon checking out in the morning. We had to stand there waiting for someone to get to the front desk for 20 minutes!!! There must have been a bus-load of kids too, cuz the night of our wedding, it sounded like a herd of elephants storming down the hallways, and mgmt wouldn't do anything about it when called.
We ended up not using the rooms here, however, I can say they are excellent. The breakfast buffet that they offer in the morning (and the evening dinner buffett) is great. They have a nice indoor pool area, as well as the casino part for the adults.
