We had such a great time! A cool November day, with lots of sun and an abundance of fall colors!
Sonoma County is our home, and we couldn't find a more suited place for us to share the day with our family and friends. Our venue provided a romantic rustic backdrop to our evening reception; we celebrated the night away with our loved ones!
We really enjoyed Dax as our dj, we didn't have to worry about anything! He was professional, organized, and dedicated. His price includes consultations and has updated equipment to coordinate all your music desires. He helped keep things going smoothly the entire day. He had people out there dancing from start to finish. Thank you Dax!
Roger and his staff were friendly, helpful, and made everything work even though I had forgotten to provided them with many details prior to the wedding. They know their business well, and took care of the food and beverages all while gracefully blending in ...that's a good thing for a bride on her wedding day! I had many compliments on their good work.
This is a beautiful location. The building is all stone and wood, creating an elegant, rustic tone that we were looking for. It's large two story building is 100 yrs old, and provided a great location for our indoor wedding (especially for November). It is a blank slate, which allows creativity. However, it does not have cooking/kitchen area, only a large sink and counter space, so be prepared to have your licensed caterer bring everything in. The bride's room is nice, it is upstairs with a great view of the vineyards and hills beyond. Review the venue contract in detail with Trione and understand what's required of you and the vendors. We were bringing the food in from a restaurant separately (not through a caterer), and realized at the last minute that the venue required a licensed cater to serve beer. Luckily everything worked out; the venue made an exception and covered their legal end, while I covered mine with an online event insurance (no host alcohol). All said and done, the venue was affordable for us; a good thing because nothing else is included in the cost except for the building and the bride changing room. A perfect blank slate.
We stayed there our wedding night, and everything was good. We didn't want to spend $300-$400 on just one night (not uncommon for higher-end Healdsburg hotels), so this was a great suite for a little over $100. A decent sized suite with fireplace, Jacuzzi tub and balcony. The front desk attendant was lacking in personality; we were in full wedding garb and we didn't get a "congrats!" or much more than a glance above the check-in desk. Other than that, we didn't have anything wrong with the room.
