The wedding took a lot of planning but the vendors helped make it easy. Getting married this time of year in Durham is fantastic and there is much for the guests to see. Best time in the world!
We had Randy Bennett as the DJ and he was incredible. These guys are very talented and give you all you want and more. They are very attentive in your planning needs and responsive to emails. They had us on the floor all night long!
If you want the best flowers in Durham, you have to go to Ninth Street Flowers. They've been in business for decades and they've done more weddings than they can count. They are very familiar with a variety of venue sites and protocols. Suzi, our contact, was great!
Margo Williams is a makeup artist and hair stylist and is incredibly talented. She is fairly priced and made me and my bridesmaids feel gorgeous on our day. She travels to you and brings all the tools to transform you into a blushing bride. Excellent!
Breathtaking and doesn't need anything added to make this an incredible place to get married. You got to be a Duke grad to get married there and you'll be out of pocket $2,000, but well worth it!
The rooms are gorgeous. They are newly renovated and it feels very posh but at a decent room block price. (get a room block for the wedding!)
The marriott is decently priced and the staff are very helpful. The room was beautiful and though there were a few hiccups, they tended to them immediately. Everyone had fun!
