Our wedding was just what we wanted. Wellfleet is part of our story so we knew we had to get married on one of its beautiful beaches. You have to get a permit from the town hall which was hassle free. We had 50 guests who stood around us while we said our vows. It was a 20-30 min ceremony so people didn't mind standing. A few people brought chairs. We had a couple friends play our favorite music using a portable iPod speaker before the guests gathered and after we married. Then we headed to Truro Vineyards for dinner and dancing. It was beautiful!
Cape Tunes was excellent. Music was a very important part of our wedding so we were very careful about who we chose as our DJ. We wanted to be in charge of all music played and he was fine with keeping to our music list and did not play any random songs. The dancing was a lot of fun.
We loved working with this vendor. They let us design our own menu. we had oysters, shrimp, crab cakes, and gazpacho martini sips and lobster rolls, corn, and a veggie platter for the main course. It was buffet style, except the apps were served. we had one signature drink- mint mojitos and then bought beer and had truro vineyards wine that was served at the bar.
We needed an affordable shuttle to transport guests from their hotels to the ceremony at the beach to the reception (truro vineyards). They then brought guests back home. They were wonderful.
my sisters and i had a hair appt the morning before the wedding while the guys went out on a boat. They do makeup as well. very affordable/great service.
Carissa is my sister's best friend so we were very blessed to have her as our officiant. She is based in Brooklyn but does come out to the Cape/Martha's Vineyard during the summers so you might be able to sway her to come out for your wedding.
